VE ³ in Real-Time: Book Publications

I have been fortunate to partner with a variety of residents in urban communities, clergy, youth, and scholar/activists who agreed to share their stories; I was glad to document them. In addition to scholarly articles, their voices have resulted in a variety of books, both traditionally academic and more applied. Some of the book publications below reflect collaborations with other researchers across the country who provided their expertise and experiences to the study of empowerment and social justice. I am excited about my upcoming book, From Jesus to J-Setting: Religious and Sexual Fluidity among Black Young People (Forthcoming, University of Georgia Press 2022) as well as my recent mainstream fiction novel, Shadow Pastors (Dreaming Big Publications 2021).
